Required Essential Qualification - The Candidates should have Completed Master Mariner, Master’s Degree in respective branch, B.E. / B.Tech (Electrical), MBBS Medical Practitioner/ Holding COP Second Class / General Class of Radio Officer issued by Ministry of Communications, Instructors for skills such as Welding, Plumbing, Hydraulics & Pneumatics, Computer Lab, Electrical repairs and Band (Music) Instructor to possess trade certificates from ITI. Pass from a recognised board/University or any equivalent qualification approved by Government.

Age Limitation as on - The Candidates age Limit should be 60 Years, 63 Years, 65 Years, 70 Years As on 01-02-2019 (According to the posts).

Salary or Total Emoluments- Rs. a pay band of visiting faculty will be Rs. 1000/- per hour and conveyance of Rs. 300/- per day to Master Mariners / Chief Engineers for all courses (except Basic Safety Training course, for which hourly rate would be Rs. 800/- per hour and conveyance of Rs. 300/- per day). For faculty other than Master Mariner / Chief Engineer, the honorarium will be paid at Rs. 700/- per hour and conveyance of Rs. 300/- per day. Honorarium paid to visiting instructor / nurse / workshop instructor will be Rs. 1000/- per day and conveyance of Rs. 250/- per da.
